SCANMYHOST / TERMS

Draft updated: 10 October 2026 · Not yet effective

Authorized use

Test only systems you own or have permission to assess.

Practical guidance

Review findings in context and protect account access and confidential reports.

Still to be agreed

Payment, cancellation and legal provisions remain open for professional review.

1. Provider and account

ScanMyHost is a NordTracer product provided by Nordis Global OÜ, registry code 14282456, Narva mnt 5-74, 10117 Tallinn, Estonia. Questions about the service or this draft: [email protected].

Keep account details accurate and sign-in credentials secure. When acting for an organization, confirm that you have permission to request an assessment on its behalf. Customer eligibility and account requirements still need to be defined in the final terms.

2. Authorized and responsible use

Request assessments only for systems you own or have explicit permission to test. Check the permitted domains, hosts, paths and integrations, including permissions needed from third parties. Technical ownership verification does not replace testing permission.

Do not use assessments for unauthorized access, data theft, disruption or other abuse. If your permission or scope changes, stop the assessment and clarify what is allowed before continuing.

3. Understanding assessment results

An assessment provides a view of the selected scope at a particular time. Coverage depends on available access and technical limits. Findings may include false positives, and some vulnerabilities may be missed.

Treat reports as input to security decisions, rather than proof that a system is secure or compliant. Review recommendations in context and consider backups and operational impact before making changes.

4. Plans, prices and payments

Before purchasing, review what the offer includes and ask about anything unclear. This draft does not set prices, taxes, billing periods, renewal rules or extra charges.

[Accounting and legal review: confirm payment methods, currencies, tax treatment, invoice details, billing periods, renewals and any credit or usage rules. Record the approved purchase terms before offering paid access under them.]

5. Cancellation, refunds and questions

For questions about a purchase, cancellation, refund or complaint, contact [email protected] with a relevant order reference. Do not send payment-card details. Check your billing status before closing an account.

[Legal review: define cancellation steps and timing, withdrawal and refund procedures, complaint handling and any applicable consumer information. This draft does not decide refund eligibility or set deadlines.]

6. Data, integrations and reports

See the Privacy notice for information about personal data. Check report availability and export options before relying on continued access. This draft does not set data-retention periods or change the Privacy notice.

Connect only services and credentials you are authorized to provide. Use the minimum access needed, remove access when no longer needed and avoid submitting unrelated personal data or secrets. Protect confidential reports when storing or sharing them.

7. Materials and usage rights

Assessments may involve customer materials, third-party information and service-generated reports. Before uploading or sharing material, check that you have permission to do so.

[Legal review: define ownership, the permissions needed to perform assessments, report usage and sharing rights, and treatment of third-party materials. This draft does not grant a licence or transfer ownership.]

8. Availability and service interruptions

Maintenance, technical failures and third-party dependencies can affect assessments and access. Questions about availability or a stopped assessment can be sent to the contact address above.

[Legal review: define support arrangements, any agreed service levels, and the grounds and process for restricting, suspending or ending access. Include how customers are informed. No availability or response-time commitment is set by this draft.]

9. Completing and approving the terms

This draft is a discussion document. It does not amend existing agreements, create new charges or set liability limits. The final wording and its publication date remain to be approved.

[Legal review: complete customer eligibility, acceptance, effective date, change notices, responsibility and liability, applicable law and dispute resolution. Confirm consistency with the reviewed payment terms and Privacy notice before publication.]
